2002 Scholarship Benefit Stallion Service Sale

The stallions offered in the 2002 Morgan Dressage Association Benefit Scholarship Stallion Service Sale are all champions and/or producers of champions.

All stallions are offered at half their advertised stud fee - if the stallion advertises a full-priced fee of $1,000, then the stallion is offered through this Benefit Stallion Service Sale at $500. Bidding is simple. If you want to purchase a stallion's service, simply fill out the bid form and send it to the address listed.


Iron Forge Starman

Bids MAY NOT be postmarked prior to January 1, 2002. The qualifying bid with the earliest postmark of January 1 or later will win the service. In the event that two bids have the same postmark date, Morgan Dressage Association members will receive preference over nonmembers.

Bidders will be notified by e-mail or telephone and if successful will have seven calendar days following notification to send a check for the service to the Association. If a check is not received within seven days, the service will be offered to the next postmarked bid.

Successful bidders will be required to sign the stallion owner's contract and in addition to the half-price service, must pay any collection/shipping fees incurred. All stallions are available by shipped semen, some maybe available by live cover.

The Association urges all potential bidders to contact the stallion owners directly for a breeding contract and to learn more about the breeding terms before placing a bid. For more information, including color photos and more information about each stallion, click on the stallions' names.

Black 16 hands, (BL Independence x Yellow Iris Inger) Multi-talented, with wins in hunter and dressage championships through First Level. Advertised stud fee $950. You pay $475.

HVK Santana - Service Sold
Chestnut, 15.2 hands (Beamington x Equinox Georgianna) The breed's Number 1 Sport Horse sire in 1997 and 1998, Santana produces foals with size, disposition and conformation who have won multiple World and Regional Chamiponships. Advertised stud fee $2,000. You pay $1,000.

Brown, 15.1 hands, (Lyonhil Quintessence x Briarwood Audrey Ash) Quasar is producing serious sport horses with size, athleticism and beauty. Advertised stud fee $1,250. You pay $625.
