Declaration is participating at the advanced level in International CDE competition. Combined driving tests a horse's endurance, speed and agility (marathon), obedience (cones) and gaits/training (dressage). At the intermediate level in 2006 he was the highest placed Morgan competing at Florida's Live Oak & Sunshine Sate and New Jersey's Garden State International, earning Reserve Champion at the first two and a close third at the new Jersey event. "Sparky" has an exceptionally kind disposition, traveling, stabling and grazing next to mares. Despite his rigorous program of training and competition, he has stayed sound throughout. Declaration's oldest purebred son (15.1) sold as a dressage mount; his oldest purebred daughter (15 hands) sold as a driving/school horse prospect. All offspring have been as large or larger than their dams; none will finish under 15 hands, including one out of a 14.1 hand mare.
