Carbon has done well in open competition, as have his offspring. Many time winner at the Morgan Grand Nationals including Champion Third Level in 2004; Reserve World Champion Second Level Dressage at 2001, World Champion Musical Freestyle at 2000 and 2002, 2000 Top Ten AHSA Morgan Dressage First Level; World Champion First Level Dressage at 1999 GN; 1998 AHSA Morgan Dressage Horse of the Year. He also competes very successfully in Western Pleasure with his amateur owner and drives.
