There were more than three dozen entries for the third annual Morgan Dressage Association Awards of Excellence program, with submissions from training through fourth Level. The rules for the 2001 competition were more challenging than ever, with awards being given to registered Morgans who achieve the five highest averages from two scores at each level in United States Dressage Federation recognized competitions during the competition year (Nov. 1 through Oct. 31). At least one of the scores submitted musthave been from the highest test of the level. The top horse in each level (Open and Junior/Young Rider) received a special award. The top five received a certificate honoring their achievement. Listings are in the following order: Placing, Horse, Rider, Owner, State, Score
